Patio Season: Langley and Langley City - West Coast Food

Patio season is upon us! Do you know where you’ll next be enjoying a cool beverage with friends? If you’re visiting the Fraser Valley area for a lake day, a hike, a winery hop, or just to see where the summer day takes you, then there are plenty of reliable options. Here are just a handful of our favourite spots in Langley and Langley City.

Langley City

Egg Bomb

If you’re getting up early to start your patio crawl, then this brunching staple should be your first stop. Home to area-famous Korean egg drop sandwiches, you can have an AM feast while taking in the fresh morning air. Add an iced honey bee latte, and you’ve surely started your day on the right foot.

Mr. A’s Patio Restaurant

With the rolling greenery of the Newlands Golf and Country Club as a backdrop, it’s no wonder this patio is a favourite for when summer arrives! Join for any of their legendary buffets (prime rib, seafood, brunch) and see why locals in the know often go here for special occasions.

Adelicia’s Mexican Restaurante

Langley City has no shortage of fantastic Mexican fare, but when we need a margarita with a side of Vitamin D, this is where you’ll find us. Located on the main drag of Old Langley, you can enjoy your breezy perch on the patio and watch the world go by. All from the comfort of some of the best chimichangas you’ve ever had.

Dead Frog Brewery

What’s the adult version of sitting on the front step with your popsicle? We’d say having a pint of Lemon Lime Creamsicle while basking in the patio sunshine comes pretty close! With 24 beers on tap, the brewmasters at Dead Frog are always ready to help you cool down. And when you’re replenished, there’s plenty of space in the sun on their roomy patio.

Haven Kitchen + Bar

Modern decor, mood lighting and cocktails. Add a patio, and you’ve got the recipe for a solid summer evening. One of Langley’s new favourites for a date night, or night out with friends, Haven’s patio is the perfect spot to ring in the end of the overcast.

Trading Post Brewing

Another excellent spot to sample a delicious Langley-brewed beverage menu, Trading Post is a community stand-by when temps start rising. Order a frothy pint of Blood Orange Wheat Ale, and crack open the Jenga, the patio here is pinnacle summer basking.

Beatnik’s Bistro

Venture out to where BC began for a bit of a history tour followed by some well-earned downtime. A round of crispy coconut shrimp and a pitcher of sangria, there’s really no better way to wrap up the day than with a little small-town hospitality.
