Always Something to Celebrate: Where to Feast on Foodie Holidays - West Coast Food

Sometimes you need an “official” excuse to add a little flair to your foodie routine! Thankfully for us, it seems like just about every day of the year has an approved opportunity to dig into every food for every course. Craving a second scoop? Use July 19 (National Ice Cream Day) as your reason to indulge. Ready for an extra helping of Middle Eastern goodness? It’s the perfect excuse for a Falafel lunch on June 12 (International Falafel Day). Whether you want to wait or not, there are plenty of official occasions to keep you well fed throughout the year. Start with these notable ones and a few of our favourite Metro Vancouver places to celebrate.

Pinkies up, people! Today is the day to revel in your fancy side. Tiny little sandwiches, freshly made scones with clotted cream… if you’ve been putting off being dainty for some time now, reserve your spot ASAP. You deserve to put yourself on a pedestal from time to time.
