Richmond is a foodie’s paradise with a diverse range of restaurants and cafes. Here are three worthy places to check out if you’d like to get some work done while enjoying delicious treats and beverages.

 

Rocanini Coffee Roasters

With a passion for the art of living, Rocanini Coffee Roasters has a keen understanding of the delicate balance of coffee. They’re not only in pursuit of the arts, but also dedicated to the scientific side of coffee roasting and preparation.

With large tables, plenty of seating, and free wifi, it’s a great spot to meet and work. You can even make a day trip out of it and enjoy the rest of Steveston while you’re there!

Fresh Press Coffee Bar

Fresh Press Coffee Bar was established in 2016 with a focus on good-quality food and coffee for the community. They serve up coffee from Canadian specialty coffee roasters and make their own pastries in-house.

A special highlight is the Sea Salt Caramel Macchiato. It’s served with homemade caramel sauce and the taste is heavenly – just like caramel candy! The grass-fed milk makes it extra creamy and silky. For those who are lactose-intolerant, try the drink with their house-made almond milk for a nutty and smooth taste. The café offers free wifi and has a 1.5-hour dine-in limit.

Pomona Coffee

 Although it operated under a different name, Pomona Coffee has been around in Richmond for over nine years.

The owner takes great pride in sharing specialty coffee with the community. All of Pomona’s coffees are brewed with only beans that score 80 points or above on a 100-point scale. The beans are sourced from all around the world, including Brazil, Colombia, and Kenya. Among the highlights are the Hawaiian Kona and Jamaica Blue Mountain.

If you’re looking for a special treat, try the Panama Geisha coffee – world-renowned for its unique taste.
