Looking to up your summer game? There’s nothing quite like making the most of the sunny forecast with a bit of added island flavour—and that’s exactly what The Caribbean Days Festival is all about!
On July 26 + 27, put on your brightest colours and head to Coquitlam’s Town Centre Park for one of the year’s most vibrant food, music, and culture fests! Kicking things off at 11 am on the first day, the opening parade is where you’ll officially ring in the occasion with all manner of spectacle. Watch as performers strut and dance to Caribbean beats in incredible costumes and traditional clothing. There’s even a dedicated parade for kids that they can join too!

From there, you can take in a jam-packed schedule of live performances by artists from countries across the Caribbean: Jamaica, Trinidad & Tobago, and the Bahamas, just to name a few! Samba dancers, steel drum bands and afro DJs will keep you moving and grooving through the entire weekend.
And, of course, what would any community gathering be without food to go along with the sizzling vibes? With tens of thousands of visitors expected to attend this year, you know that the famous Caribbean hospitality is going to keep them all well fed!

Whatever your spice level is, there will be feasting opportunities, from mildly tame to full-on adventurous. Pan-fried doubles with curried chickpeas, Jamaican jerk chicken over a charcoal fire, perfectly sweetened roti… There is no end to the ways you can tantalize your tastebuds! Plus, this year, the beer gardens have expanded to the entire grounds, so you can mingle and peruse the food stalls with a frosty craft beer in hand. It’s the perfect arena to wander with your crew, sampling the tasty wares of local chefs and international flavours.

Join for one day or the whole weekend, and see why Caribbean Days is the quintessential way to add a bit of spice to your summer!
