Fort Langley is the birthplace (Nov 19, 1858) of British Columbia and was an important Hudson’s Bay trading fort on Canada’s pacific coast. The Fort Langley Village Farmers’ Market, located at the Historic St. Andrews Church on Glover Road, is a traditional BC farmers market featuring local farmers bringing fresh, pesticide-free, field greens, vegetables, fruits, and fresh cut field-grown flowers to the market every Saturday in the summer. Local vendors offer fresh baking, hot food, a variety of prepared foods, and a selection of the “Best of BC” artisans with paintings, sculptures, woodworking, natural soaps and creams, handmade jewellery, hand-knitted clothing and accessories. Local wineries offer tastings of local wines, spirits and craft beers. Also, community organizations visit to offer services to our local residents. Come and browse the vendor stalls on Saturdays from 10:00am to 3:00pm, May 4 to October 26, 2019.
