As part of the Philippine Consulate General’s continuing efforts to introduce and promote Filipino cuisine in Vancouver, the Consulate has organized a food truck event called “Manila Comes to Town”, featuring Filipino food businesses, Max’s Restaurant and Shameless Buns, as well as La Glace ice cream (recently adjudged Metro Vancouver’s best ice cream), along Canada Place from September 3- 5 (Tuesday to Thursday), during the lunch hours, beginning at 11:00 a.m.
