Starting up spot prawn season on May 16th when the colourful boats decorate Steveston’s Fisherman’s Wharf and spot prawn sales begin. There’s a lively atmosphere through the entire spot prawn season and from June 1 – 18, watch out for more spot prawn celebration events at participating restaurants.

Brewhalla For Langley Beer & Music Festival, May 20

Planted Expo, May 27-28

Spot Prawn Festival, May 28
The Chefs’ Table Society of British Columbia is once again hosting the iconic Annual Spot Prawn Festival on Fisherman’s Wharf on May 28. The festival is family-friendly and includes free cooking demos with some of Vancouver’s top chefs, access to the docks, and live music. You can also sample spot prawns in a Spot Prawn Bisque ($10) or buy tickets for the Spot Prawn Brunch (a tasting menu of 6 delicious spot prawn dishes (19 yrs+ only)
