North Shore Craft Beer Week, November 2 – 14

This week has the cure for what ales you (pun intended!) Sample suds from the finest craft breweries on Vancouver’s North Shore which kicks off with an amazing evening at their launch party on November 2nd in the Historic Shipyards District with food trucks, live entertainment, prizes and games!

DJs and all day happy hours to dim sum and Pacman, North Shore breweries (and a local  cidery and distillery) are offering their best and most inventive drinks, food, and live entertainment in their taprooms from November 3rd to 14th.

Cheese and Meat Festival, November 4

Get ready for a gouda time! The Vancouver Cheese and Meat Festival celebrates artisanal foods and beverages, showcasing a diverse array of gourmet cheeses, cured meats, and treats. An artisan market at Fort Langley Community Hall with curated goods from the finest local small shops. Pick up soaps, handmade paper gifts, wooden home decor, quality skincare, pet snacks and so more while sampling from delicious food.

Yes Shef!, November 6

Celebrating the creativity and accomplishments of women in the culinary world,  Yes Shef: Elevating Women in Food & Beverage, attendees can savour delights crafted and curated by female-led teams and sample  from leading winemakers, sommeliers, brewers and bar professionals will serve wine, beer and cocktail creations at tasting stations throughout the ballroom.

Hosted by the WORTH Association (Women of Recreation, Tourism & Hospitality) at the Fairmont Pacific Rim’s stunning Star Sapphire Ballroom, the event pairs celebrated chefs and student apprentices from the Pacific Institute of Culinary Arts to develop and execute a signature dish. Dumpling Fest: Vancouver Fall Edition, November 8

The 10th edition of the Dumpling Fest takes place this month, where participants will be served a range of dumplings, from Chinese wontons, to Italian Ravioli, Japanese mochi, Korean mandu, Mexican empanadas, Nepalese momos and more. 

Presented by Vancouver Foodster and Tasting Plates, each restaurant will be serving up Tasting Plates and Bowls for guests to enjoy.From 6pm -10pm, check event for ticket information.

Holiday Bread Making Workshop, November 25

Surrey Tree Lighting Festival, November 25 and 26

Start your holiday season with the Surrey Tree Lighting Festival, and snack on seasonal favourites in the Enchanted Eats zone. Lined with food trucks, Enchanted Eats Boulevard has all your favourite handheld treats for wandering through the festival.
