Cloverdale Market Days continue to celebrate this heritage with markets once a month on Saturdays through the summer, May to September. Expect fresh-as-it-gets produce (from just up the road!), local artist exhibitions, fun family activities and entertainment that includes the Re-Enactors bringing stories of Surrey’s early years to life.

Kwantlen Farmers’ Market — Richmond
Richmond’s bustling farmer’s market has grown from humble beginnings. Started as a way for students in Kwantlen Polytechnic University to support student and community food security by selling the University farm’s produce, Kwantlen Farmers Market has blossomed into a community event that celebrates the “work of human hands”—from the soil, the kitchen, the sewing machine, and more. Open Tuesdays, May 6 to October 28.
Every Tuesday from May 6 – October 28, 2025
11am – 3pm

Coquitlam Farmers Market — Coquitlam
Visit the longest running suburban farmer market in the Lower Mainland at the Coquitlam Farmers Market every Sunday from May to October. Started by Simon Fraser University students in 1997, the market continues their mission to create vibrant communities where local producers and suburban consumers can meet and connect over a shared love of food. It’s always worth a return visit as their roster of vendors changes weekly. The only rule being, they gotta “make, bake, grow, forage, or raise” whatever they sell!
Every Sunday from May 4 – October, 2025
9am – 1pm

Langley Community Farmers’ Market — Langley City
This award-winning farmers market was built by a small group of farmers in 2008 who were looking to boost the business of the farms right in Langley where much of BC’s food is grown, and also to educate the public in how agriculture, the economy and environment are all connected. These days they are nurturing the future at the ground level with their Young Entrepreneur Program, which provides a stall for kids to sell their own products at the market, as well as mentorship from seasoned vets. Stop by to see how they’re doing, Thursdays from July 3 to August 28.
Thursday from July 3 – August 28, 2025
