One of Canada’s top food and wine events is back for its 47th year!
The Vancouver International Wine Festival returns to the Vancouver Convention Centre with more wines to sample, more snacks to pair with, and more stories to hear. The week-long event is hosting an impressive roster of wine makers and sommeliers, and with this year’s theme being “The Wine World is Here”, they’ll be coming from all corners of the globe. The featured wines will be internationally inspired, with this year putting an added emphasis on French varietals and French-inspired wineries.

If you’re already prepping for your first pour, then head straight to the tasting room upon arrival. The heart of the festival, this is where you’ll find over 700 wines ready for each note to be savoured. Across each of the seven days, you’ll find all kinds of events here, from seminars and vintage tastings to winery dinners and wine minglers. The agenda is as robust as flavour profiles!
Whether you consider yourself a wine person and you’re looking for a few new bottles to bust out at your next dinner party, or you’re merely a bit wine-curious and want to see if you can pick up that distant flutter of chestnut on that aged Cab Sav, there are opportunities to enhance the palates of every experience level.

A strikingly crisp Sauvignon Blanc from New Zealand, a delicate Pinot Noir from Chile, or maybe a perfectly chilled ginjo sake from a master brewer in Japan? No need for a passport to experience the rich and complex terroir of the world’s different wine countries. Just grab a ticket and get ready for a sensory experience unlike any other!
The Vancouver International Wine Festival is on from March 7- 14, 2026
