Laura’s Coffee Corner

It’s a busy cafe with plenty of seating, including a heated, covered patio – great for these cooler months. With their free wifi, you can easily spend the morning there and work to your heart’s content!

Chez Christophe

Chez Christophe originally opened in 2013 in Burnaby Heights but has since added a second location in White Rock. The café uses fresh and local ingredients to serve up classic Swiss desserts and pastries along with treats with a more modern twist.

Their signature, must-try item is the Croissant Cube. These freshly baked cube-shaped butter croissants are filled each day with the chef’s choice of filling. Flavours are always alternating. One word: yum.

Grounds & Greens Café

Grounds & Greens Café is a relatively new café that opened in June 2020. Their mission is to build a community of people and families who value kindness and are committed to improving themselves, the community, and the environment.

Grounds & Greens Café serves plant-based dishes that are created with quality and creativity in mind. You will find nutritionally balanced menu items meant to nourish the body, and inspire plant-based eating. All dishes are made in-house with high-quality, often locally sourced ingredients.

The Greens Toastie is their version of an avocado toast but with an upgrade. Toasted on sourdough bread, it comes with pea and edamame hummus, crispy chickpeas, tomato jam, pickled onion, “feta” cheese, basil oil and, of course, avocado! Every bite is an explosion of flavour and it’s one of the most popular dishes on the menu. The café offers free wifi.
