Richmond Country Farms
With thousands visiting yearly to find their perfect pumpkin, this patch has grown into a community favourite. Kids will adore riding the hay wagon to the nearby duck pond and waterfall, while parents will appreciate the estate winery on site, Country Vines Winery. Hey, picking a pumpkin can be strenuous! All these activities are accompanied by the backwood stylings of the farm band, “The Country Pumpkins.”

Hazelmere Pumpkin Patch at Gabriel Farms Ltd.
A mainstay of the best autumn events in Surrey, the Hazelmere patch returns with a you-pick pumpkin area, a mini corn maze, a playground area and a wagon ride. There’s also plenty of opportunity to interact with the friendly locals of the farm (goats, pigs, peacocks). Food trucks will be on the scene, so stay for lunch and make a day of it!

Southlands Farm
A farm in Vancouver proper? If you haven’t visited this gem of the Dunbar area, then this is the perfect time to go! Home to horses and ponies, this old apple orchard is hosting a wonderful autumn experience this month. Once you’ve picked your pumpkin, find a seat around the campfire if you’re up for a ghost story or two.

Aldor Acres
On 5 acres just east of Fort Langley, is the Aldor Acres farm, famous around these parts for its immense pumpkin patch with a wide variety of pumpkins—all shapes, sizes and colours! There’s animals aplenty too, with ample opportunity to get to meet them up close.
