Vancouver Christmas Market, December 1 – 24

The celebrated German Christmas market in Vancouver is back! Festive foodies can sample mulled wine, a selection of German and Austrian beers, and a variety of sweet and savoury epicurean delights like Swiss raclette and gulasch while browsing over 90 artisan stalls and enjoying live entertainment. A Christmas Cocktail Story, December 1st – 23rd

The retro holiday celebration is back for a second year. Sip on stiff drinks, snap photos in the kitschy insta-worthy décor, and nibble on nostalgic food at A Christmas Cocktail Story. Each visit includes a welcome holiday drink, shareable fondue and holiday treats by  Chef Karl Gregg, and the guest’s choice of classic craft cocktails with a seasonal twist by Vancouver bartending legend Scotty Marshall.

Night Market & Food Fest, December 2 

Kayjaye Studios and Gourmet Groceries co-hosts the Night Market and Food Fest at Alternative Creations Studio. Visit the Holiday Pawp-up Photo Session where guests can  take portraits with their animals (all animals accepted) and enjoy a cup of complimentary hot chocolate. Free admission.

Holiday Sip n’ Shop, December 2 

A night of shopping, enchanting entertainment, and delectable treats right in the heart of Shipyards. Participating shops and boutiques across the neighbourhood keep their doors open for you to shop and explore,  providing their own nibbles and refreshments. Japan Market Christmas Fair, December 2 – 3

Featuring over 90 vendors offering yummy Japanese food and unique Japanese style merchandise. Samurai will be on site again for free photo opportunities.

Swedish Festive Feast, December 7

Tea with Santa, December 8

Santa Claus is taking a quick break from holiday preparations at the North Pole to stop by for a very special Afternoon Tea at YVR Fairmont in support of the Make a Wish Foundation.
