Proudly Philippines is organized by the Philippine Consulate General in Vancouver in celebration of the 121st anniversary of the proclamation of Philippine Independence, the 70th year of PH-CA relations and the declaration for the very first time of the month of June as Filipino Heritage Month. The event will highlight everything Filipino, from Philippine food products and cuisine to tour packages to travel destinations in the Philippines, and other Filipino businesses in Vancouver, as well as cultural performances.
