The annual Langley Cranberry Festival is back–and it’s going to be a “berry” good time! A grassroots event that’s been growing since ‘95, the festival celebrates local goods and the history of the cranberry in the area. Taking place the Saturday before Thanksgiving, sour enthusiasts can browse through product and food vendors to nab the freshest produce and goods for Thanksgiving dinner.

UBC Apple Festival, October 14 & 15

Entering its 32nd year, this annual celebration of BC’s favourite fruit invites visitors to learn about the myriad varieties of apples, exploring differences in taste, texture and appearance–and to pick up a few for your enjoyment at home after wandering through the fair grounds and enjoying snacks and live entertainment.
