Gather ‘round all you ale aficionados, there’s an important announcement regarding your favourite hopped beverage!
Vancouver’s North Shore Craft Beer Week is right around the corner, so it’s time you start planning your brewery route. From November 4-14, North Shore brewing houses will be hosting special events with exclusive beer collabs, kitchen takeovers, games and prizes. And it’s all happening just because we love beer! If you’ve read this far, chances are that you do too, so here’s an idea of the things you can expect to be tapping into.
Events
The North Shore calendar will be lit up with craft beer events throughout the week! La Cerveceria Astilleros will be featuring live music (including a Mariachi band) to ring in the launch of their new Horchata Porter, while Wildeye Brewing is hosting a dim sum night featuring a special Asian-styled cask beer. Over in Deep Cove, Deep Cove Brewers + Distillers will be hosting an Oktoberfest party complete with Bavarian Lemon Lager, Bratwurst, house-made strudel, and music care of The Terminal City Brass Band. You’ll be shouting “prost!” and doing “The Schuhplattler” in no time.

The BC Ale Trail Brewery Passport
When you visit participating breweries, you can mark down your visit in your trusty passport! Rack up six stamps, and you’ll get a branded glass to show off the next time you crack open a cold one at home. Hit ten stamps, and you’ll be entered to win a grand prize package that includes an overnight stay at the Pinnacle Hotel at the Pier including breakfast for two, a gift basket filled with Vancouver’s North Shore swag, admission for 2 to the Capilano Suspension Bridge, a $25 gift card to any one participating North Shore craft brewery, and 2 Belgian VNSCBW beer glasses! Craft Beer Week Hotel Packages
There’s really no better way to finish an evening of brewery tours than by putting on a bathrobe and diving onto a freshly made bed. Participating North Shore hotels are doing their part to reduce cab fare by hosting visitors with a special offer throughout the event! Not only will you get a $25 voucher for a North Shore brewery when you book your stay, but also two branded beer glasses to mark the occasion with. The offer is valid for stays between November 4-30, 2021 so we strongly advise booking ahead!
